Edinburgh cafes will spoil you -if you are going to Edinburgh you will be spoiled for choice by the amount of good cafes and coffee shops throughout Edinburgh. In the past one could order only regular coffee, but now Edinburgh is full of specialty coffee shops offering more exotic coffee fayre such as Café Latte, Cafe Mocha, Cappuccino Coffee, Columbian Coffee, Blue Mountain Coffee, etc. Some of the coffee shops offer jazz, so now jazz lovers can sip good coffee listening to jazz music in Edinburgh coffee shops. |

Edinburgh Cafes free WI-FI ..we are starting to compile a list of Edinburgh cafes(and bars were you can get a coffee) with free WI-Fi in Edinburgh. The place I have visited and tried out the WI-Fi free access was Baroque on Edinburgh's Broughton Street-very strong signal and I sent an email to my office on the test. Visited Starbucks,30 a George Street Edinburgh which is Wi-Fi enabled but it is not free as you have to pay T-Mobile for the use of the service.Visited Costa Coffee, 1 Hanover Street and there is no free WI-Fi as they are not even WI-Fi enabled. Went into Cafe Nero Rose Street which is in the Easyeverything building and they have WI-Fi but you have to pay Surfandsip and a girl using the sytem told me it was £5 for 24 hour access. At a quick glance at the Edinburgh free WI-Fi situation there would not seem to be many locations with free WI-Fi but I intend to check out as many places as possible over the coming weeks and I will keep you up to date with the free Edinburgh WI-Fi situation.I think that giving free internet access for those who are wireless enabled is a great way of getting extra customers through the door of your cafe or bar and more Edinburghh Cafe and Edinburgh bar owners should by looking at the opportunitities to service a fastly growing wireless enabled laptop carrying market.-20th.December 2005
All Good , 107-109 Morrison Street
Edinburgh –Tel :0131-228 8088.
Free Wi-Fi -but non-smoking small cafe opposite the
Edinburgh Conference centre .There is a single yellow line
outside but you can park your car on, sit at the window using your
lap-top ( keeping one eye on the car) and do a runner when the over zealous
Edinburgh traffic wardens try to book you. All Good café has the bonus that they have a wireless printing service so you could run off your resume etc. while having a coffee.18th.Jan.2006
Radley Scotland .Have you seen the hanbags that have become really popular with the ladies, that have the Scottie dog on them? An Edinburgh coffeee shop has a gift shop adjoining selling these bags that are made by a company called Radley. Umbrella's by Radley ,Radley purses, and Radley bags all have the little Scottie dog logo that seems to be becoming an icon-2tth.December 2005..
